Looking for a new brew to try? How about one brewed with some extra hometown pride?
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has released a collection of 20 new signature beers as part of its Hometown Taps collection.
One beer each will be on tap at Iron Hill’s 20 locations from Pennsylvania to Georgia and were inspired by the community each establishment serves. A portion of proceeds from each Hometown Tap beer will be donated to food banks in each community.
The April 6 rollout marks the largest single-day release in Iron Hill’s 27-year history.
Delaware is home to three new First State-inspired brews, which will be featured at Iron Hill’s Newark, Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach locations.
Iron Hill in Newark will feature the White Clay IPA. This vibrant beer is brewed to match the energy of Delaware’s beautiful state parks and is loaded with notes of bright citrus and resinous pine from an abundance of American hops, according to the brewery.
Wilmington’s Iron Hill location welcomes the Riverfront IPA. West Coast IPA’s Amarillo, Centennial and Citra hops combine to create a citrusy, crystal-clear beer, according to promotional materials for the release.
The perfect spot to kick back with the Riverfront IPA? A seat overlooking the Wilmington Riverwalk, of course.
Iron Hill in Rehoboth Beach has added the Breakwater IPA, named after the Junction & Breakwater Trail that’s a short walk away from the restaurant. This mix has a sweet, malty backbone that is balanced out by the fragrant, floral hop notes, according to the brewery.
This could be your new go-to brew after a long day spent soaking up the sun and listening to crashing waves.
Each new IPA will be available year-round. For more info, visit ironhillbrewery.com.
