I-95 lanes are now open following an earlier crash with injuries that partially closed the interstate near Christiana on Tuesday.
The extent of the injuries have not been provided by Delaware State Police, who are investigating the crash.
“This collision is in the early stages of the investigation,” said Sgt. India Sturgis, a police spokeswoman. “Additional details will be released once they become available.”
The crash, first reported on state police’s Twitter account at 8:37 a.m. Tuesday, occurred on I-95 south in the area of the Christiana Road overpass.
While three lanes were closed following the crash, they are now open. Some delays may exist as the interstate was backed up.
