This Juneteenth, you can tune into a two-night special event celebrating the undeniable impact of Black culture on music, television, sports and film.
“Black Pop: Celebrating the Power of Black Culture,” is set to premiere June 19 with back-to-back episodes. Produced by Stephen Curry and narrated by La La Anthony, the event is a partnership between E! and NBC News Studios and Unanimous Media.
This multi-part, archive-rich series will examine Black subculture and the impacts of Black creators on American media history. The special will celebrate the roots of Black music, examine the impact on fashion, discuss TV and sports legends, and more.
“This special is a testament to the strength and impact of our community, and we’re grateful to all the voices who joined us in sharing their fondest memories and inspirations from years of Black excellence in pop culture history,” said Erick Peyton and Stephen Curry of Unanimous Media in a press release.

Two hour-long episodes will air on Monday, June 19 and Tuesday, June 20 starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT on E!.
