A 49-year-old man has died after being pinned under a hay bale near McGovern Road in Hockessin on Monday morning, the New Castle County Police Department reported.
Police said they tried to resuscitate the man, but he died from his injuries.
The incident is now under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Unit and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, according to police.
