CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Richmond-area grandmother got a special gift from a hearing company which runs a charitable foundation.
Dottie Simmons, who suffers from significant hearing loss, applied for the Beltone Hearing Care Foundation. On Thursday, March 14, she got a pair of hearing aids fitted for free at Beltone’s clinic on Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield.
“I don’t know the words to use, but talk about joy,” said Simmons to 8News. “Joy doesn’t cover it.”
Simmons said she is looking forward to talking on the phone and can’t wait to hear her family, especially her grandchildren.
