Carsten Kaiser, Archmere baseball: Sophomore allowed one run on two hits in 6 2/3 innings as the Auks opened the season with a 2-1 win over top-ranked Delaware Military Academy.
Keira Oppenheimer, Brandywine girls soccer: Senior had two goals and three assists in a season-opening 6-1 victory over Tatnall.
Jackson Redd, Wilmington Friends boys lacrosse: Junior earned a combined nine goals and four assists in season-opening wins over Wilmington Christian and Polytech.
Jake Boyce, Mount Sophia Academy golf: Senior was the medalist with a 37 at Back Creek as the Grizzlies swept a tri-match with Caravel and Middletown.
Lilli Showacre, Delmarva Christian softball: Junior allowed one run on four hits in a 4-1 win over top-ranked Sussex Central, then homered and held Smyrna to three runs on eight hits in a 6-3 victory.
