Not in Washington to make friends

“I’m going to push back”

Two U.S. soldiers walk through the historic area on Ft. Bliss Army installation on April 23, 2012. The Army contracted energy efficiency consulting company Johnson Controls for the installation of a $16 million solar energy system. With the improvements Ft. Bliss, which has about 30,000 soldiers and 1.1 million acres, is expected to save $39 million in energy costs over the next 24 years.
