After a deadly morning of flash flooding in Bucks County, more severe weather remains on the horizon.
Much of the region will see more rain, areas of flooding and periods of heavy downpours that may produce damaging winds, according to the National Weather Service. The agency issued a flood watch that will remain in effect through the evening.
The National Weather Service in Mt. Holly predicts rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches in most places, but some areas may receive 3 to 5 inches of rain due to severe thunderstorms.

A flash flood warning for South Central Bucks County was issued around 9:40 a.m. The National Weather Service said between .5 and 1.5 inches of rain had fallen and an additional 1 to 1.5 inches of rain was expected.
The weather service’s flash flood warning for South Central Bucks County expires at 12:45 p.m., though the potential for flooding remains through the evening.
The flooding may cause creeks and streams to rise above their banks. In some urban and flood-prone locations, flooding may occur in areas with poor drainage.
Expect damaging winds from storms tonight
Severe thunderstorms are expected later today where the main concern will be damaging winds that come from these storms.
