Fire blazes from same business on Monday where two people were found dead on Friday

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A fire blazed from a towing business in Henrico County Monday morning, the same building in which one man and one male victim were found dead with gunshot wounds on Friday.

According to the Henrico County Division of Fire, a call reported the fire at T’s Towing on Nine Mile Road at 1:16 a.m. on Monday, April 1, and crews arrived within 5 minutes.

Firefighters said the blaze appears to have begun in the back of the building, and was since marked under control.

No injuries are reported in connection to the fire, and the blaze remains under investigation.

This comes just three days after a man and a male victim, whose age has not been confirmed, were both found dead with gunshot wounds in the same business at 5:02 a.m. on Friday, March 29.

The deaths are being investigated as a double homicide, according to police.

Officials have not confirmed that the fire and shooting are connected.
