The Federal Bureau of Investigation is back in Bardstown conducting a search related to the disappearance of Crystal Rogers.The FBI in Louisville tweeted Monday morning that they are conducting a judicially authorized investigation of a property at 345 Paschal Ballard Lane. They said that they are setting up a barricade near the farm at that location in order to prevent anyone from entering while they search.WLKY’s crew on the scene reported at tent set up on the property and that field agents are bringing items out of a barn. This comes after the FBI renewed its efforts in August 2021 with a previous search nearly a year after it took over the investigation into her disappearance.Since the mother of five disappeared in 2015, the only suspect ever named has been her boyfriend at the time, Brooks Houck, with whom she shares a child. He has never been charged.Agents in August 2021 targeted a subdivision, Woodlawn Springs, where Houck built three homes, and then honed in on one. He built that home, but no longer owns it.In the player below is footage from that search.Sources close to the investigation tell WLKY there are three places of interest, including the Houck family farm, FBI plans to search.It’s believed to be the last place Rogers was the night she disappeared. It has been searched multiple times before.Sources say Rogers’ family was made aware of the plans for this newest search.
