A fatal crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon has a Dover-area roadway closed.
Delaware State Police provided few details about the crash other than to say Bayside Drive is closed from South Little Creek Road to Bergold Lane.
Additional details about the collision will be released once more information becomes available, police said in a statement.
This incident brings the number of traffic fatalities in Delaware so far this year to 160 — just five shy from the 1988 record that saw 165, according to the Delaware Department of Transportation.
