Farm incubators, career development and research in space.
U.S. Sen. Tom Carper and Chris Coons, along with U.S. Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester (all D-Del.), gathered in Dover on Monday to announce over $1.6 million in congressionally directed spending headed to Delaware State University.
The federal dollars are earmarked for various projects, according to a recent press release, one of which plans to create a “Farm Incubator Module,” another to expand mentorship and career development opportunities for DSU students, as well as advance research and development in space.
