Delaware State Police have identified the 3-year-old killed in a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Rising Sun on Tuesday as Kasai Bull.
The agency also identified a motorcyclist killed in a separate wreck that occurred later that same day near Middletown as 24-year-old Kristopher Battles.
What happened that led to the child’s death?
Bull, the toddler, was killed just after 4 p.m. at South State Street and Rising Sun Road in Kent County after police said he ran into the road. The driver of a white Chevrolet Silverado, an 18-year-old, hit him and continued going.
Police late identified and “contacted” the driver. No charges have yet been filed.
What happened that led to the motorcyclist’s death?
The motorcyclist died hours later in New Castle County after police said he sped around traffic and hit a car when he entered an intersection.
Battles was ejected and landed under the car.
