Darius Rucker’s Delaware encore

Mega country star Darius Rucker has a lot of love for southern Delaware. He headlined the Freeman Arts Pavilion in 2012 and also performed at the Delaware State Fair in 2017.
The “Wagon Wheel” singer last visited the First State in late Feb. 2022, but he wasn’t rocking a stage.
Rucker was instead teeing off at Rock Manor Golf Course near Wilmington, before his performance at The Met Philadelphia later that night.

He was with his drummer Jeff Marino.
The Grammy artist is known as a golf enthusiast who’s competed multiple times in the popular AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament.
So don’t be surprised if you hear about Rucker hanging out on the links in Delaware ahead of his show this summer.
How can I score tickets to Freeman Arts shows?
Tickets for these performances go on sale Thursday, Feb. 23 and Friday, Feb. 24 at freemanarts.org, according to press materials.
On-sale times will vary throughout the day. Folks also can visit the website for show times.
More than 65 acts coming to Selbyville
The Freeman Arts is looking to bring a little something for everyone to enjoy this year.
“We anticipate this season featuring more than 65 diverse performances,” Patti Grimes, executive director for Freeman Arts Pavilion, said in a statement.
“The variety of genres we are presenting provides the opportunity for all to enjoy arts performances all summer longer.”
