RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A Richmond street will see daily closures from late March into early April to allow for work on a local hospital’s roof.
According to the City of Richmond’s Department of Public Works, Grove Avenue between Hanover and Floyd Avenues will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily beginning Tuesday, March 26, and ending Tuesday, April 2, to allow for scheduled work.
A contractor will set up a crane to allow work on the roof of Retreat Doctors’ Hospital, located at 2621 Grove Ave., to be performed.
According to the department, the crane will be moved to the side of the road after 4 p.m. each day so that drivers can access the road during off-hours.
