Crumbl Cookies, a fast-growing national bakery chain, is opening its first Delaware location next week.
The store is in the ChristianaFashion Center between Orange Theory and Mattress Warehouse in the southern strip of the shopping center. It is scheduled to open June 23.
It will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight on opening day, according to a Facebook post.
Crumbl Cookies features a rotating menu of six cookie recipes: a chocolate chip, a frosted sugar cookie and four other flavors pulled from a deep back catalog or developed new. This week’s options are classic pink sugar, peanut butter cup featuring Reese’s, classic Krispies bar featuring Rice Krispies, brownie batter and confetti milkshake, a sugar cookie with rainbow sprinkles, cake-flavored buttercream and whipped cream.
The cookies are packaged in a pink box that has become Crumbl’s signature and have inspired thousands of viral social media reviews. The most popular option is a four-pack served in an oblong-shaped pink box.

The company was founded by a pair of cousins in Logan, Utah, in 2017. The first store sold only chocolate chip cookies. They made everything fresh in the store where customers could see them.
Crumbl started offering more flavors as it grew to more locations and settled on the rotating menu concept in December 2018, combining the business benefits of variety and scarcity. The company has more than 800 bakeries in 49 states.
The closest existing location to the Delaware border opened in late February in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. It is on Route 202 in a strip center near Wegmans.
Crumbl Cookies is also planning to come to Dover.
The location is under construction in Capital Station, a shopping center on Route 13 with Aldi and Red Robin. The company told Delaware Online/The News Journal the store is tentatively scheduled to open at the end of the year subject to construction or supply delays.
