RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A vehicle crash on Interstate 95 caused delays for Friday morning commuters in Richmond.
The crash was first reported shortly before 7:15 a.m. and was located on I-95 North near the Chamberlayne Avenue exit.
According to VDOT, the north left shoulder, left lane and center lane are all closed. At one point, there was a 4.5-mile-long backup.
The crash scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened shortly before 9:30 a.m., according to VDOT.
