Three people were injured in a house fire in Brandywine Hundred on Saturday afternoon, according to New Castle County paramedics.
Paramedics said they were sent to 25 Bradley Drive at about 2 p.m. to help the Talleyville Fire Company. Two people were taken to the hospital in stable condition, paramedics said. The third injured person refused an ambulance and was treated on the scene.
After the combined efforts of local fire companies — including Elsmere and Bethel — put out the blaze, residents of Bradly Drive stood in their driveways to watch firefighters clear smoldering debris out of the ruined house.
The fire was concentrated on the upper floor of the residence overlooking the driveway.

Firetrucks and paramedics parked throughout the neighborhood, running long hose lines to hydrants around the block. Two New Castle County Police officers temporarily closed the entrance to the development.
The cause of the fire was under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office.
