Bicyclist killed in crash in Shenandoah County, police looking for information


SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police is asking the public for information as the agency investigates a crash in which a bicyclist was killed.

According to state police, the crash took place around 3:21 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 on the 2200 block of Junction Road, just outside of the town of Strasburg in Shenandoah County.

It was determined that 19-year-old Noah B. Clem of Strasburg was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram when he struck 66-year-old Matthew M. Settle of Strasburg, who was riding a bicycle. Settle was pronounced dead at the scene, he was wearing a helmet.
