Analysis as Jalen Hurts leads playoff rout vs Giants

PHILADELPHIA − Jalen Hurts wasn’t the only Eagles player back at full strength after suffering a shoulder injury last month.

So was the rest of the team as the Eagles completely dominated an opponent, in this case the New York Giants, for the first time since, well, their first meeting against the Giants back on Dec. 11.

And so were the fans, who started filling the lots early Saturday morning by buying tickets to the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse game, then kept partying during the game as the Eagles took a four-touchdown lead in the first half and cruised to a 38-7 win over the Giants in the NFC Divisional Round on Saturday night.

And yes, the players felt the exuberance from the crowd in the Eagles’ second home playoff game in five years.
