RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Groovin’ in the Garden has announced alternative rock artist Ben Folds will headline one of the concert series in June at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens.
According to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Ben Folds will be featured at Groovin’ in the Garden’s second concert scheduled for Tuesday, June 11.
Tickets will range from $51-$101 depending on which section is chosen — and viewing spots within each section will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Section levels include:
- Lawn: bring your own chair, blankets are prohibited
- Premium Lawn: in front of the lawn, chairs are provided, limited tickets are available
- Gold Circle: directly in front of the stage, chairs are provided, limited seating availability
Tickets will be available for purchase online at the Lewis Ginter website or in person at Plan 9 Records starting March 8.
The concert will be part of a “Paper Airplane Request” themed tour, where participants will be able to throw airplanes on stage with song requests and the artist will decide which requested songs to sing, according to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens.
