RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A crash on Interstate 64 west shut down several lanes Wednesday evening.
The crash was located on I-64 near mile marker 191 in Richmond around 4 p.m. According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, two westbound lanes were closed. Traffic backups reached three miles.
In a video sent to 8News by a viewer, one car can be seen having landed on the hood of a second vehicle – both were close to the edge of the bridge.
Virginia State Police said that nobody was seriously injured in the wreck.
