RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced on Friday that all POW/MIA flags be flown with the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Virginia flags on all state and local buildings and grounds throughout the state.
The Governor’s order is intended to show respect for National Armed Services Day.
The National League of Families POW/MIA flag will be flown from sunrise on Saturday, May 21, 2022, and remain until sunset.
