New Castle County police investigate slaying in Dunleith near New Castle



Authorities are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the slaying of a 64-year-old man near New Castle. 

New Castle County police responded Friday to the area of Anderson Drive in Dunleith after receiving a report of a deceased person. Upon arrival, the officers found Michael Cephas dead and determined that foul play occurred, according to information released Sunday by police.

The investigation is in its early stages and ongoing.

Police are asking that anyone with information or video surveillance regarding this homicide to call Detective Mancuso at (302) 395-2743 or email him at John.Mancuso@newcastlede.gov.
