RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Kyle Larson spoke with the press Saturday morning before hitting the starting line for NASCAR race weekend at Richmond Raceway.
Larson, who drives the number 5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports and currently ranks 5th, spoke to 8News on Friday about this weekend’s races. The morning of Saturday, March 30, Larson attended a press conference and answered a variety of questions from the media.
The driver remained humble, despite his 24 previous NASCAR Cup Series wins. When asked about his relationship with his fanbase, he spoke about why maintaining some openness with fans is important to him.
“I remember being a kid … wantin’ autographs from drivers and stuff,” Larson said. “They always took the time for me. So I try my best to take my time for every fan that stops by.”
