RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The land that could have been used for the twice-rejected casino in Richmond is being sold by Altria Group Inc.
The property is located at 2001 Walmsley Boulevard in the city’s Southside and spans about 98 acres.
A three-story, roughly 463,786-square-foot office and laboratory building that used to be home to the Philip Morris USA Operations Center lies on the property, according to the property’s listing.
The land is zoned for industrial use and is situated near the Interstate 95 Bells Road interchange.
Nearby buildings include an Amazon fulfillment center, an industrial building belonging to Brother International, a plant owned by Kinder Morgan and a Dupont warehouse, as well as the Port of Virginia Marine Terminal.
