CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Virginia Department of Transportation will close a section of Duval Road in Chesterfield County for crossline pipe installation work.
On Thursday, April 4, the department will close a section of Duval Road between Skinquarter Road and Otterdale Road from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for crossline pipe installation work, if weather permits.
Drivers are advised to use the following detours:
- Eastbound traffic: Travel east on Duval Road, right on Otterdale Road, right on Hull Street Road, right on Skinquarter Road and right on Duval Road
- Westbound traffic: Travel west on Duval Road, left on Skinquarter Road, left on Hull Street Road, left on Otterdale Road and left on Duval Road
According to the department, residents will maintain access to their homes throughout the operation.
