CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man is dead following an early morning shooting in Chesterfield County on Sunday.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers were called to the 13600 block of Northwich Drive at about 3:29 a.m. on March 17 for reported gunshots.
Officers arrived at the scene to find an unidentified man in a vehicle with a gunshot wound. According to police, he was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
According to police, no information on a suspect is currently available as of the time of reporting. The investigation is ongoing.
