VCU Rams defeats St. Joseph’s Hawks 66-60, A-10 Semifinals


NEW YORK (WRIC) — The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Rams defeated the St. Joseph’s University Hawks with 66-60 in a heated matchup at the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Tournament today.

On Saturday, March 14 at 1 p.m. the two teams went toe-to-toe at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn for the A-10 Men’s Basketball Semifinals.

With a very close score, the St. Joseph’s Hawks came in lead 25-23 by half-time.

Max Shulga brought in the most points for VCU Rams, scoring 23 points. Erik Reynolds II scored the most points for St. Joseph’s Hawks with 18 points.

VCU is currently the best remaining seed in the tournament as No.5 seed.
