CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the intersection of Swansea Road and Northfield Lane in the Midlothian area of Chesterfield County will be closed on Wednesday, March 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for pipe replacement.
VDOT said residents will still be able to access their homes during the road work operation.
Drivers are recommended to use the following detours:
- Eastbound Traffic: Head north on Redmeade Lane, east on Tuxford Road and south on Goodward Road.
- Westbound Traffic: Head north on Goodward Road, west on Tuxford Road and south on Redmeade Lane.
