RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — John Marshall High School’s Boy’s and Girl’s Varsity Basketball teams both made it to the Virginia High School League Class 2 Championship game, but only the boy’s team left with a state title.
John Marshall’s Boy’s Basketball team won their third consecutive state championship at the Siegel Center in Richmond on Thursday, March 7 with an 89-32 win against the Virginia High School Bearcats from Bristol.
John Marshall’s Girl’s Basketball team came up short against the Wise County Central High School Warriors with a score of 58-41. That game also took place at the Siegel Center on March 7.
