Maryland jumps out to lead over Delaware in women’s basketball

Terrapins hit 100

Maryland used a balanced attack to knock off Delaware 102-71 in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Senior Jasmine Dickey led all scorers with 31 points, but it wasn’t enough to knock off the higher-seeded Terrapins

Jasmine Dickey has huge game

Delaware doesn’t look like it’s going to win, but it was a great game for senior guard Jasmine Dickey. She’s scored 29 points, pulled down nine rebounds and grabbed a steal to lead the Blue Hens. With 3:30 left in the game, Maryland leads 94-69.

Staying hot

Maryland is shooting nearly 60 percent from the floor. They’re hitting open looks, making shots against good defense and they’re filling up the scorebook. Maryland leads 92-64 with just under five minutes remaining.
