Morning news brief: Epstein papers say underage girls were recruited; Israel unveils post-war Gaza plans


Unsealed court documents regarding convicted sex offender and late financier Jeffrey Epstein were released on Thursday (Jan 4) which primarily focused on the recruitment of teen girls in his Florida home.

In news from the US, a tragic gun shooting incident took place in Iowa state where a 17-year-old teenager killed a sixth grader, leaving five others injured. The incident occurred at Perry High School on Thursday morning (Jan 4) local time, with four students and a school administrator among the injured.
