Brent Ricketts, Seaford boys basketball: Junior scored a combined 62 points in victories over Tatnall, Appoquinimink and St. Andrew’s in the DIAA Boys Basketball Tournament.
Dylan Shepherd, Tower Hill boys basketball: Junior scored 12 points, including the winning basket with one second left in the fourth overtime, in a 43-41 win over St. Mark’s in the DIAA quarterfinals.
Taylor Wilkins, Caravel girls basketball: Senior had 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists and four steals in a 63-44 win over Caesar Rodney in the second round of the DIAA Girls Basketball Tournament.
Payton Keeler, Woodbridge girls basketball: Junior had 17 points, nine rebounds and six steals in a 47-43 victory over Lake Forest in the second round of the DIAA Girls Basketball Tournament.
Sydney Hilliard, St. Elizabeth girls basketball: Sophomore scored 17 points – including three 3-pointers – in a 53-41 win over Dover in the second round of the DIAA Girls Basketball Tournament.
