As the Mega Millions jackpot remains untouched after Tuesday night’s drawing, the dollar signs continue rolling closer to $1 billion.
Tuesday night’s winning numbers were 03, 05, 06, 44, 61 and the gold Mega Ball 25 with a 4x Megaplier.
With no winner, the jackpot has soared from an estimated $820 million to $910 million with a $464.2 million cash option, placing it among the largest jackpots in U.S. lottery history. According to the Mega Millions website, “the jackpot is on the verge of $1 billion, a level it has surpassed four times in the past, most recently last January.”
