The long-awaited return of “Futurama” is almost here.
Streaming platform Hulu released a new trailer for the show’s 11th season on June 27.
Hulu announced a 20-episode order of the animated comedy in February 2022, according to Deadline, however the newest season will only have 10 episodes.
According to the show’s official synopsis, Season 11 will feature “a whole new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture, and streaming TV.”
The show first premiered in 1999 and quickly gained a rabid fanbase and critical acclaim. The show has won two primetime Emmys for Outstanding Animated Program.

After its initial run on Fox, the show was released on DVD from 2007-2009, according to Deadline. That led to a revival on Comedy Central from 2010-2013.
Ten years later, it is once again being revived on Hulu.
