First responders were called to the first block of Eaton Place at 3:10 a.m. for reports of a fire with people trapped. When firefighters from Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company arrived, they found smoke coming from the back of the house, the department said.
Two women, a 38-year-old woman and 14-year-old girl, had gotten out of the home and met firefighters in the front yard. They told first responders that the men were still inside.
