Over the next month, Delaware will host four actors from the popular Starz crime drama “BMF,” featuring Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., Kash Doll, Myles Truitt and Chase Jackson.
The performers are spread out across different events.
The first event introduces “BMF” actors Truitt (B-Mickie) and his little brother Jackson (Rasheed) in a free appearance at the North Wilmington Branch Library on Thursday, July 6.
There’s a live discussion at 11 a.m., intended only for youth. The adult event (18+) will feature a meet and greet at 5:30 p.m., followed by a live discussion at 6:30 p.m.
The events are free and on a first-come, first-served basis. So you’ll want to show up early to score a seat.

‘BMF’ actors speak to ‘younger generation’
Jamar Rahming, executive director of Wilmington Public Library, was able to land the two “BMF” actors from Atlanta because Truitt is related to Priscilla Artist, who works for the library system.
Rahming said they’re thrilled to host the actors, who are both younger than 22, because the library wants to reach a different audience.
The last few years, Rahming has brought in a number of celebrities to the library for free appearances, including Dennis Rodman, KRS-One, Slick Rick and Lynn Whitfield.
This event gives the “BMF” stars a chance to meet fans under 40.
“I feel like the past speaker series that we had kind of catered more to older people. So we’re just excited that we have the potential to offer something that a younger generation will enjoy.”
Who are Myles Truitt & Chase Jackson?
According to IMDB, Truitt and Jackson have worked on a number of projects, with big brother Truitt doing the heavy lifting. In addition to “BMF,” Truitt has appeared in “Stranger Things,” “Black Lightning,” “Monster High: The Movie” and “Atlanta.”
Jackson has appeared in “Tales” and “BMF.”

What is ‘BMF’ about?
“BMF,” executively produced by rapper 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson), dramatizes the true story of two brothers in Detroit during the 1980s who created a cocaine-trafficking empire known as the Black Mafia Family.
The brothers are Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. The part of Big Meech is played by his son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr.
In January, “BMF” attracted 4.1 million viewers to the first episode of season two, the Starz network announced.
That same month, Variety reported that Starz is renewing “BMF” for a third season.
