A house in Odessa was set ablaze Sunday morning causing estimated damage of $600,000 with no reported injuries, officials said.
The fire started shortly before 11:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Scarlet Oak St. at Baymont Farms development off Vance Neck Road.
Flames were shooting from the first floor of the one-story house when firefighters arrived on the scene, according to Assistant State Fire Marshal Michael G. Chionchio.
The house, which was reportedly under construction, was unoccupied, Chionchio said.

Odessa Fire Company along with other fire companies brought the fire under control.
The blaze remains under investigation, officials said.
