PETERSBURG, Va.(WRIC)- Police in Petersburg are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night.
According to a tweet from the police department sent at 10:48 p.m. Sunday, police are investigating in the 1900 block of Varina Avenue near the intersection with West South Boulevard. There is a heavy police presence at the scene while the investigation continues.
