Bruce Wayne is dead in the new CW series “Gotham Knights,” which debuts this spring. But his Batmobile seems to be alive in Delaware.Troy Jenkins of Lewes is selling the superhero’s car on Facebook Marketplace for $5,500.This black-and-red version of the Batmobile was built from a 1977 Dodge Aspen, per Jenkins’ post.
Cruising in retro Batman whip
The vehicle design was inspired by the campy 1960s “Batman” TV show. It features sweet candy-apple red Bat logos on the rims, which hypnotizes petty criminals into jealousy and awe.A cute little Bat phone sits on the dashboard. But that seems more for show than functional use due to Delaware’s hands-free law.
Unless you’re into the road-warrior look, one of the glaring issues with this Batmobile is the driver seat is sliced up.
It looks like Catwoman threw hands (paws) on the seat out of envy for Poison Ivy flirting with Bruce.Jenkins, who wasn’t available for comment, posted that the vehicle is up for possible trade consideration for other classic cars.
