Crane falls into building in downtown Oklahoma City

CREWS SAY EMPLOYEES IN THE SMALLER CRANE WERE ABLE TO ESCAPE SAFELY WHILE THE OPERATOR OF THE LARGE CRANE WAS TAKEN TO A NEARBY HOSPITAL WITH MINOR INJURIES. CREWS SAY THE MASS AMOUNT OF WEIGHT CAUSED THE CRANES TO TILT. THEY’RE SITTING HERE WAITING ACROSS THE STREET AND STARTED HEARING KIND OF A LOUD CREAKING NOISE AND LOOKED OVER AND THE CRANE WAS STARTING TO TIP OVER KIND OF SLOW MOTION AND IT SMASHED INTO THE BUILDING. WE BELIEVE IT WAS JUST SIMPLY THAT THE WEIGHT SHIFTED WITH IT BEING ON THE THE SIDE OF THE CRANE AND JUST CAUSED THE CRANE TO TILT INTO THE BUILDING. AND AMAZINGLY, NO OTHER INJURIES WERE REPORTED WITH THIS. OFFICIALS SAY AREAS AROUND SHERIDAN AND ROBINSON WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE NIGHT AND THEY HOPE TO
