Two people affiliated with the Wilmington-based MGS gang have been sentenced to a total of 61 years in prison for multiple shootings, some of which were deadly, the Delaware Department of Justice announced Friday. There are over 200 criminal charges affiliated with the gang and its members.
“We will remain relentless in the fight against gun violence,” Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings said in a written statement.
Davon Walker, a 22-year-old member of the MGS-affiliated gang Keyzdrive, will serve 53 years behind bars for crimes including three counts of second-degree murder, the Department of Justice said. Many of these crimes “stemmed from a bloody feud with rival gangs,” according to a department spokesperson.

Walker pleaded guilty to the September 2019 killing of 19-year-old Naithan Grzybowski and the October 2020 murders of 30-year-old Tommier Dendy and 29-year-old Eddie Green. Wilmington Police Department detectives said they were able to identify Walker as a suspect by using surveillance footage, Instagram posts and ballistics analysis.
The Department of Justice also sentenced 21-year-old Pierre Carter-Bailey for his involvement in the MGS-related shooting that injured six people in Wilmington in April 2019. The department said police were able to identify Carter-Bailey via surveillance footage after a “lengthy investigation.”

Carter-Bailey, who initially pleaded guilty in March, will serve eight years in prison on charges of assault, gang participation and firearm possession.
“While we will remain relentless in our efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible for violent crime in our community, we also hope these sentences will drive home a strong message that gun crime will not be tolerated in our neighborhoods,” Wilmington Police Chief Robert J. Tracy said in a statement.
