Three people were shot Saturday afternoon when gunfire broke out along East 23rd Street in Wilmington’s Price’s Run neighborhood.
Wilmington police said a 29-year-old woman who was hit by bullets later died at the hospital, while a 31-year-old man injured in the shooting remains in critical condition. Additionally, police said a 30-year-old man was also injured in the gunfire but is considered “stable.”
Officers were still on the scene hours after the shooting Saturday across the street from Bethel Pentecostal Church at Pine and East 23rd streets.
