A 20-year-old man pinned under a vehicle early Sunday morning near Middletown died from his injuries.
New Castle County Police said that around 1:53 a.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the Village of Bayberry North near Middletown. Police found a white 2015 Jeep Wrangler on its side with a 20-year-old man pinned underneath.
According to police, a 21-year-old person was driving the Jeep through the neighborhood when it rolled over pinning the victim. No other details have been provided. The Division of Police, Traffic Services Unit is investigating the incident.
First responders, including New Castle County Emergency Paramedics, worked to move the vehicle and rescue the victim. He was taken to Christiana Hospital where he later died. Police have not released his name.
