Update: As of 4:45 p.m., the number of customers without power has decreased to 3,051.
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Severe thunderstorms on Sunday morning have left many residents in Henrico without power.
Dominion Energy is continuing its work to restore power for those impacted and estimates that more than 7,500 customers have been affected by the power outage, as of 11:30 a.m.
That number had increased to over 11,000 outages by 1 p.m.
As of 2:30 p.m., that number had been reduced to 7,100 customers.
By 3:45 p.m., that number was less than 3,500.
The counties of the Richmond Metro and Tri-Cities area — including Henrico County — were also reported to have 9,938 customers without power.
As of 1 p.m., that number had increased to over 15,000 customers without power.
That number had been reduced to 9,500 by 2:30 p.m.
As of 3:45 p.m., that number was less than 5,100.
